Ms. Vardanyan commenced her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the
Bronx County District Attorney’s Office. In this role, she handled a wide array of cases,
ranging from violent misdemeanors to complex felony matters, mastering the intricacies
of criminal law from investigation to resolution. She conducted trials and advocated for
the victims.
Transitioning into civil litigation, Ms. Vardanyan worked in a national law firm, focusing
on liability claims, construction accidents, and catastrophic injuries, further broadening
her legal expertise and representing major companies in different lawsuits. Her ability
to analyze cases from multiple perspectives empowers her to provide vigorous
advocacy for her clients, anticipating challenges and proactively strategizing for their
defense.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Ms. Vardanyan has personally navigated the
challenges of immigration to the United States, instilling in her a profound empathy for
those facing similar journeys. During her time in law school, she dedicated herself to
assisting immigrant communities through the Immigration Justice Clinic and the Empire
Justice Center. In law school, Hasmik Vardanyan graduated Top 25% in her class; was
as a senior associate in Pace International Law Review and was a selected Pro Bono
Scholar.
Post-graduation, Mrs. Vardanyan continued her commitment to service by providing pro
bono representation to individuals seeking to navigate the complexities of immigration
