Meet the Founding Partner

V Law is led by Hasmik Vardanyan – a member of the American Bar Association and Armenian Bar Association. On her lifelong path toward the founding of V Law, Ms. Vardanyan adhered to the principle that a great lawyer knows the argument of the opponent better than the opponent does. Ms. Vardanyan offers expertise backed with profound legal experience from “the other side”. Her experience enables her to predict how prosecutors or insurance carriers think, and how immigration cases unfold. During the various phases of her career, Ms. Vardanyan wore these “hats”: she prosecuted cases, defended insurance claims, and wore the shoes of an immigrant.

Upon graduating from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University with honors, Ms. Vardanyan worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office. As a prosecutor, Ms. Vardanyan handled various violent and non-violent misdemeanors and felony cases from inception to disposition. Later, Ms. Vardanyan transitioned into civil litigation where she focused on liability claims, construction accidents and catastrophic injuries. The ability to analyze cases from both sides allows Ms. Vardanyan to provide zealous representation to her clients through prediction and proactiveness.

Lastly, Ms. Vardanyan walked the difficult path of an immigrant when she came to the United States of America to pursue her aspirations. While in Law School, Ms. Vardanyan worked at the Immigration Justice Clinic and Empire Justice Center on various immigration matters. Upon graduation, Ms. Vardanyan proceeded to represent members of the community Pro Bono assisting them to navigate through our complex immigration laws. Helping others to attain their American Dream has been the driving force that inspired a once seventeen-year-old immigrant to open the doors of her own Law Firm, V Law.
